NEW GAME · LOADING THE NEXT GENERATION

Empowering the next generation of game designers —
regardless of where they start.

The door is closed.

The games industry generates over $200 billion a year. Its workforce doesn't look like its audience. That's not a talent problem. That's an access problem.

The pipeline into game design runs almost entirely through expensive universities, well-resourced schools, and self-funding. The result is a workforce that is disproportionately white, male, and middle-class — not because talent is distributed that way, but because opportunity is.

And the ground is shifting fast. Emerging AI tools are rendering much of the traditional six-figure university curriculum near obsolete — leaving even the current workforce scrambling to retrain on skills that can't be automated: human craft, creative direction, and performance.

Respawn is recreating this lost pipeline from grassroots.

Three disciplines. One pipeline.

The industry needs more than coders. Respawn trains the next generation across the three disciplines that actually ship games — developers, artists, and voice talent — and meets learners wherever they start. Through our partnerships across the industry and a core learning module founded in MIT courses, learners of all backgrounds and levels of opportunity can begin their careers with Respawn.

TRACK 01
Developers
A complete game design and development curriculum — systems, mechanics, engines, and shipping discipline. Eight modules, industry-led, free, no prerequisites.
TRACK 02
Artists
Concept, 3D, animation, and technical art — taught alongside engine licenses, asset libraries, and pro-grade software granted to learners who can't afford them.
TRACK 03
Voice Talent
Voice acting workshops led by working VO professionals via our TIVA partnership: technique, home-booth setup, demo reel production, agent submissions, and casting introductions.
Exclusive Partner

Human voices. Real craft.

Respawn holds an exclusive educational partnership with True Indie Voice Art (TIVA) — a collective of professional voice actresses whose credits span the biggest titles in video games. TIVA was founded on one principle: human creativity, made by human hands, no exceptions.

Module 7
Voice Performance & Audio Narrative Design — taught by working voice actors, not educators.
The Showcase
Annual co-produced audio drama — learners and TIVA, live and streamed worldwide.
No AI. Ever.
TIVA's founding stance on human creativity aligns exactly with what Respawn trains learners to protect.
